SUS303 Custom CNC Machined Stepped Shaft

 

Manufactured from SUS303 stainless steel, this component measures Ø23 mm at its maximum outside diameter, Ø9 mm at the shaft section, and 90 mm in overall length.

The part combines multiple stepped diameters, a long slender shaft, a side-milled slot, and multiple 1 mm precision slots around the lower cylindrical section.

The main machining challenges include maintaining concentricity across the stepped diameters, controlling deformation during narrow-slot machining, minimizing burrs, and preserving a consistent machined surface.
